My darling little cousin Bernadine. So often I felt that we were cheated out of time together because our families always lived in different countries. But then you and your brother Danny made a visit to Canada (as adults) and I got to know my beautiful, funny, sweet cousin. I have been so thankful for those moments with you. Through the years we have had you in our thoughts, our prayers and hearts. Watching you from afar raise 2 wonderful boys with Colum, and also watching you courageously battle whatever came your way, made it twice as hard to hear that you are no longer with us. However I will always remember the way you laughed, the way you smiled and the way you tossed your hair, but most importantly I will remember that you were courageous and you inspire me...Lisette
