My dear cousin Bernadine. A beautiful soul, a ray of sunshine sent from heaven above, to fill the world with her beauty and kindness. She was tender hearted, yet strong and courageous. She loved everyone, even the littlest of God’s creatures. She will always walk with us in her beautiful garden, and we will feel her presence- in the flowers that bloom, the birds that sing, the red cardinal that visits fleetingly to brighten our world, and leaves us wanting for more, and we will hear her in the whispering breeze that blows through the trees.
